What does a new roof cost in Northeast Florida?

Most home shingle roofs on a single story home land between $11,000 and $22,000, depending on square footage, pitch, and how much plywood needs replacing. Metal runs a little higher. We'll give you a real number after we measure the roof.

A typical roof is torn off and replaced the same day, with the finish work wrapping up the next morning. Bigger roofs, tile, and metal take longer. We'll give you the schedule before we start and call if the weather causes any delays.

Yes. We document the damage with photos and measurements, meet the adjuster at the house, and go over the scope with you line by line. However, the homeowner is responsible for filing the claim with the insurance company.

Yes, and there is no obligation afterwards. We walk the roof, look in the attic, and send you the photos even if you decide not to hire us.

Roof age and condition are the deciding factors. If the shingles still have granules, the deck wood is solid, and the leak traces to one spot, a repair is the right call. If the roof is more than 20 years old and the mat is brittle, patching it just moves the leak, and a replacement is often recommended.

Every install comes with a written workmanship warranty from us, in addition to the manufacturer warranty on the material. Both are in the packet we hand you at the final walkthrough.

If water is actively coming into the house, we'll be there the same day. We carry tarps on our trucks so we're able to stop any leaks immediately. We can typically come to repair a leaking roof within 24 to 48 hours.
